Webinar: Better Buildings are our Legacy: LEED v4

Recorded on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 1:00 pm ET
Decades ago, buildings had the singular goal of keeping the outdoors out, using as much technology as possible. We constructed buildings as a series of independent systems, creating and optimizing each one separately, without consideration for how they affect each other.
But buildings are more like living, breathing organisms; much like the human body, each system plays a different role, and they all must work together for the body to perform. One system cannot operate properly without the other.
This is one of the foundational premises behind LEED v4—the concept that what we do in one focus area affects the performance of so many others. With this in mind, LEED v4 provide new strategies for better outcomes.
Speaker: Gregory Shank, LEED AP BD+C, Principal, Altura Associates, Inc.
Length: 45 minutes + 15 minutes for Q+A
