Cooling For All Panel Discusses Sustainable Cooling Access Ahead of Flagship Report Launch

10 April 2018

The Kigali Cooling Efficiency Program (K-CEP) hosted the Africa Cooling Efficiency Conference in Kigali, Rwanda, to explore opportunities to maximize energy efficiency of cooling solutions in the context of the global clean energy transition. Delegates discussed, among other issues, how to reduce the use of hydroflourocarbons (HFCs) in cooling solutions. The Global Panel on Access to Cooling convened after the conference to prepare a report to be released at the HLPR in July.
