National Energy Efficiency Authority (Croatia)

National Energy Efficiency Authority has a role of energy efficiency agency that has information on all activities in the field of energy efficiency in Croatia. It has a database with all achieved savings, which is a key tool for reporting and defining of new measures that are necessary for achieving national energy efficiency objective.
The main activities of National Energy Efficiency Authority are:
Planning: making of National Energy Efficiency Action Plans
Coordinating activities with all institutions included in energy efficiency policy
Measuring: systematic monitoring of implementation through System for measuring and verifying energy savings (SMiV)
Reporting to Ministry, Government of the Republic of Croatia and European Commission on achieved results
Cooperation with national and international institutions, especially the EU institutions
 Promotion of energy efficiency on a national level, informing the public about plans, achieved measures and their effects
